Powerful lifting that permanently improves severe sagging

Surgery Information Procedure Information

It is a surgery that improves wrinkles by simultaneously pulling and fixing
the skin sagged by aging and the SMAS (fascia) layer, and removing excess skin.
In other words, it is the most definitive method to restore elasticity by lifting
the SMAS layer, which is the fundamental cause, rather than just the skin surface.

SMAS LIFTING The root cause of aging: SMAS (fascia) layer

It is a very thin fiber fascia layer covering the muscle layer beneath the skin.
Due to its very thin structure, it is weak against gravity and is the primary cause of skin sagging.

    Fundamental Lifting

It fundamentally improves the cause of sagging by pulling
not only the skin but also the SMAS (fascia) layer.
  • 02

Minimal Incision & Natural Ear Line

It minimizes scar concerns by making incisions in front of the ears
and inside the hairline, maintaining the original shape of the ears.
  • 03

    Three-dimensional Diagnosis & Customized Solution

Designing a 1:1 personalized surgery considering
skin thickness, wrinkle direction, and fat distribution.
  • 04

    Accurate and Safe Dissection Technology

By cleanly dissecting along the SMAS layer, it minimizes bleeding
and bruising, ensuring fast recovery and long-lasting effects.

FAQ Frequently Asked Questions

  • There are individual differences, but on average, it lasts for 5 to 10 years or more. However, as aging continues, sagging may recur over time. At Grace, we do not just pull the skin; we design the procedure to lift from the SMAS (fascia) layer to maintain a firm effect for a long time.

  • It varies depending on the incision area and individual skin recovery power, but usually, there is no major inconvenience in daily life after about 2 weeks to a month. Scars become almost invisible over time.

  • If skin sagging is mild or in its early stages, it can be sufficiently improved with laser lifting such as Shrink or XERF. However, for moderate or advanced aging accompanied by noticeable sagging or deep wrinkles, a facelift that can correct up to the fascia layer is much more effective. If necessary, combining fat grafting or laser treatments improves both volume and elasticity for a more natural recovery.
